I'm considering selling my Z06. It's all stock with 7,000 miles on it. Color is Jetstream Blue with Chrome wheels. Mint condition. What is a fair selling price these days? Can I get at least $49K on a private sale?
I just bought my 08 on Monday. Yellow with gray rims, 9200 mi, paid 47K from dealer, GM certified. Others I veiwed ranged from 46K-54k, milage rangedwas from as low as 800 mi. on up. One had 66,000 on it and I think they where asking 45K, nuts. Most where 47K or more with more milage, 16,000- 31,000 miles. I think I got a fair deal.
I just payed $42k for my 07' with 19k on her with heads/cam etc. I think your pretty close in asking for $49k if you find the right buyer but your probably looking at around 46-48k honestly. If your not in a hurry to sell her than ask what you want for it. Somebody will buy her eventually more than likely...
if your selling it privately I would waiting till springtime and I would ask as close to 50K as possible! its very low miles and hard to find in that color!
The JSB is commanding a slightly higher price. Whenever I do find them their avging 1-2k higher. Probably b/c there are not a lot of them around. Most are the 2008 model year.

NADA (online) $49.8K Clean Retail, $45.7K Clean Trade In, $43.7K Average Trade In. 2LZ 7K miles.
Based on that, $49K would be a bit of a reach. A dealer might offer you $45K if he wanted one on the lot, so you're hopefully going to wind up somewhere slightly above that ($47K, $48K).
As others have said, the market would probably be firmer come spring time.
IMHO, your particular color has no impact on value.
IMO you have two things going for you, a good color and the low miles. Mileage, whether some want to admit it or not, is always a factor and the lower the miles the higher the price. I agree that waiting until springtime will yield a higher selling price...again IMO.
My buddy just got a 08 JSB 2LZ with 10,500 on the clock for 52K. He wanted JSB and it was the only one he could find, He was ok with paying 52 K even after I told him he could have paid a little less.

The third thing going for this car is that it is unmodified.
