Im pretty sure that Launch Control is in the ECM/PCM - whatever you want to call it. I think you'll need a 2010 ECM and you'll need a 2010 VIN programmed into it.

The only guy I know of that really knows how this works is Chris White. I know he has put LC into his own older model Z06.

Don't want to hijack Howie's thread, but thats the same guy that wrote this article here. 2010 ECM and EBCM are required to add launch control.

Sounds good Howie. How much did it end up costing you? You might be able to re-seal the old one and sell it or keep it for a rainy day.
