Default Finally installed Black Cup Wheels on Silver Z06

The Michelin tires are drastically better than the factory Goodyear F1s. Quieter, stickier, etc... I love the new wheels 19/20 combo over the stock 18/19. I know...the car needs lowered. However, I'm not sure if I want to lower it around the DC area. Now, I get to buy some R compounds for the factory wheels.

I REALLY like those cup wheels! That being said, of all the mods done to my silver 07'. HARDBAR lowering bolts are, IMO, one of the best mods available. I understand bad roads and probably in DC parking garages, but even 1/2" lower (or more) in the front looks amazing and doesn't affect driving too badly. With those BIG wheels? WOW!

Thanks for the tip! I don't drive in DC proper, so roads aren't too bad. Speed bumps are everywhere though. Did you have to get an alignment afterward?

Always align, $100 is cheap compared to replacing the tires. I lowered mine all the way down to the tires with WCC bolts and have had no issues. Still handles decent sized speed bumps, at an angle of course. I'm SOL if I ever run up on some roadkill though lol.

Is is just me, or do pictures not do the stock stance of a Z06 justice? In person they don't look like they need lowering, but in pictures they do. I think its hard to capture just how wide & low the z is. A lot of Ferraris also suffer from this, a 458 looks like its ready to go offroading in pics, but in person they take your breath away and the last thing you notice is wheel gap.

Am I alone on this?
