Would you buy a z06 stock or with fixed heads?
I have a stock ls7 coming with 15k miles I have an 08 z06 with these current mods would I get more people with fixed heads or stock heads debating if I should use my AHP ported ms90 heads on it or leave the stock heads.
08 1lz z06 25,000 miles clean title Located in NorCal
victory red exterior
Black interior
Stock Navigation added
Carbon fiber roof
carbon fiber halo
carbon fiber spoiler
carbon fiber side skirts
New abs black zr1 lip
c7 z06 oem wheels silver
Dewitts radiator
New ls7 clutch
New tick performance billet throw out bearing with speed bleeder
New LG billet couplers
New rotors
New carbotech pads
New z06 shocks
zr1 manifolds 15k miles
zr1 cat pipes 15k miles
zr1 x pipe 15k miles
z06 muffler mod
mild to wild switch
so I have a stock ls7 with 15k miles coming should I just put the stock motor in or will I get more money and more buyers adding a set of AHP ported and ms90 guide heads with btr660 springs from AHP
looking at the cars local they sold a stock 08 z06 2lz for 36500 with 54k miles
can I get 40 for my car exterior is 9/10 interior is 8.5/10 cause there’s Some wear on the bolster of the seats I can replace those also car is clean am I being realistic? Car is in NorCal so I know z06s cost more over here

I may be an outlier but I would rather a stock car so that I can repair the heads my way. I’ve been lightly shopping to buy another C6Z and quickly pass when I see a car with stainless valves; I’m in the camp of not increasing valvetrain weight/spintron balance.

On car gurus there’s only 15 z06s within 500 miles of me and I’m located in Bay Area some of these cars aren’t 08 and up higher mileage and doesnt have the tasteful mods my z06 has so is 40k ridiculous to start my price at I’m not trying to inflate my own head but my car is clean and low miles

well I bought my z stock from a dealer, but wanted a warranty in case the heads popped....
I would probably be likely to get a car with "fixed heads" as a first time owner, but now I would only get a stock z..
I wouldn't want some one else to have worked on the car

I'm sorry but you'll get $32k-$34k tops. Make sure to take very high quality pictures, not like the picture above or you'll have no chance. You can list it at a higher price, just know that it may sit a while. Once the car is out there, it's hard to reduce price and get interest once a potential buyer has seen the car at a higher price. Always best to price appropriately from the start so every buyer is potentially interested and not turned away by the price. You can take it off the market for a bit and throw it back up with a lower price and that'll help that too.
I personally would buy a stock head car and fix them myself so I know what has been done, but I bet most are looking for a car that has already had the heads fixed so would market it like that.

Most of those dealer cars are going to have their margins built in as well as a 5-10% buffer for negotiation. The market also values purchasing from a dealer at a higher cost than buying from an individual (safety and hassle reasons, although I personally disagree). So unfortunately reduce those by 10-15% and you'll probably have your actual market value.

On the forsale section they’re all over 34k with the same mileage you don’t think 36-38 is possible?
and that’s a old picture I definitely would take better pictures

Here are two with 50k miles for 30k and 32k
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...2lt-stock.html
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...es-norcal.html
does not come with 5000$ worth of carbon pieces and nice c7z oem wheels with the rest of the upgrades and I only have 25k miles. Is 38k really that far out? I feel like I just have to wait on the right buyer or include my AHP heads on the side for 40k they’re 4500$ new

I picked mine up for 35 cpo..... it's just me but I wouldn't be buying one for much more than 30.... of course I know more now than I did when I purchased my first (this one)...
you could probably snag a first timer for 35 but you might be waiting awhile...
it's all a crap shoot... plus you're asking "experts"

I’ll post it at 37500$ obo and offer a head swap for free and even do it with the buyer to teach them about the car and learn it for free and exchange heads for free at this price
thatll include my 4500$ AHP heads I’ll just keep the stock ones they’ll still be in the AHP box with all receipts
Or they can do it at a shop they want and I’ll do 38500 and they can take the heads with them. But I’ve done 5 motor swaps and 4 head swaps on c6 z06s and I’m sure I can pursued theM with my trust as I’m very knowledgeable about the c6 platform and can answer almost any question on the car. Expect for fuel system never have messed with the pumps on any car so my knowledge on that is a bit short but I do know the jist of it.

Unfortunately mods don't add much value to the price of the car, if you can get 35k, you have done well

yeah man it sucks hearing this crap i know... i'm the same way about parts etc...
the trouble is that when you've got something to sell, it always feels like it should be worth more...
but when you're trying to buy something, it always feels like its overpriced...
i had to sell my `15 yamaha raider in damn near perfect condition, and i couldn't get more than 5500 for it... when i knew it was worth 7500...
im thinking that you could probably recoup the extra few grand by selling the pretty stuff separately...
if you've got time, be patient and list it as is many places as possible... its a rough time to be putting a toy on the market especially, but put it up high and OBO and you might land where you want to be, or close at least..
i understand your frustration, not trying to give you a hard time about the price...
