Video of Z06 motor letting go
Here's a short video of my 2009 Z06 dropping a valve. I am taking a girl for a ride and we are just pulling out on the track...

Is this a follow up video to a previous failure in November 2012?

YEAH!!!
Just got my car back from the dealer...
New engine
New oil lines and oil cooler
New oil lines and cleaned out oil tank
New intake manifold
New power steering line
New coolant
New oil and filter
New Clutch (I paid for since it was apart $396)
Total ticket on the engine (under warranty) was $18400 plus rental car
Wow, that's a big'a meatball.

39K, no mods other than my super-duper delrin shift **** and fuzzy steering wheel, not much-maybe 10 sessions, 2nd owner-but purchased from 1st owner with 4K miles in perfect garage queen condition.

I have 30K and about 15 track days on my current motor after blowing the first one on the track.
I have heads being upgraded at WCCH as we speak

Have they found anything wrong with the heads on the new motor?

Yep, everything's cool. In fact as we were walking around under the car while it was on the lift the service manager was making comments about the "unusual wear" on the tires, rolled up bits of rubber everywhere and the large amounts of brake dust on the wheels. He then followed it up by saying " I don't care if you track the car just as long as it is stock, I can't do anything if it's not stock".
