Default Video of Z06 motor letting go

Here's a short video of my 2009 Z06 dropping a valve. I am taking a girl for a ride and we are just pulling out on the track...

That sucks, hopefully you've still got some warranty left.

Is this a follow up video to a previous failure in November 2012?

Let's just say that I wanted to make sure that everything got resolved with the warranty and motor replacement before I shared this video.

39K, no mods other than my super-duper delrin shift **** and fuzzy steering wheel, not much-maybe 10 sessions, 2nd owner-but purchased from 1st owner with 4K miles in perfect garage queen condition.

Just never sure how people are going to react to taking a car on the track.

Assuming you are going to continue tracking the car, do you plan on refreshing the heads?

I have 30K and about 15 track days on my current motor after blowing the first one on the track.

I have heads being upgraded at WCCH as we speak

DH,
Have they found anything wrong with the heads on the new motor?

Yep, everything's cool. In fact as we were walking around under the car while it was on the lift the service manager was making comments about the "unusual wear" on the tires, rolled up bits of rubber everywhere and the large amounts of brake dust on the wheels. He then followed it up by saying " I don't care if you track the car just as long as it is stock, I can't do anything if it's not stock".
