Default Just curious....

A long time ago we saw a 2009 Atomic Orange ZR1 with Sienna interior and chrome wheels at NCM ready for musuem delivery when we were there.

Even my wife said it was the most beautiful she'd ever seen.

The corvetteactioncenter lists four such cars (none with the delivery option).

Is the owner of that car a Forum member?

Only 35 2009 AOM ZR1s produced so that combo has got to be rare.

I tried to find a Z06 in the same combo but had to "settle" for VY/Ebony just to find out it's just as fast!

I don't ever recall seeing any AO ZR1 owners here on the forum either.

I've had 2 DSOM Vettes - a 2005 Coupe, and I still have my DSOM 2006 Z06.

If they had made a ZR1 in DSOM that's what I'd be driving!!! (Well....I do live in Daytona!!)

Butt....I LOVE my Cyber Gray ZR1!!!

Atomic Orange is definitely a striking color and even more so with the sienna interior. That was my first choice when I started looking at ZR1s in '09 and it is still my favorite of all time. Apparently very few, including my wife, agreed with that sentiment and the color was discontinued in 2010. We ultimately agreed on Blade Silver which I also like a lot. But, it certainly does not have the pizzaz of the AOM. With the silver (and my V1), however, I have yet to be noticed by any LEOs in three seasons of driving. A reasonable consolation.

Several years ago a dealer in Gilroy, CA had a Z06 with the AO/Sienna color combo. I thought it was stunning, but they couldn't get rid of it and finally dumped it cheap after a year. Too bad you weren't there!

AO was my first choice on color, but was discontinued by the time I acquired my 2010 ZR1 (Feb. '11).
The sienna interior looked very nice with the AO, for sure (in any C6 !).

All kinds of conflicting numbers floating around, but the bottom line is that there aren't very many AO Zr1s with Sienna interior. Below is an auction site seller pitching that only 1 AO ZR1 was ever made with the Sienna interior:
