Default WCCH, heads, intake, untuned results...

Some of you know I swapped a set of WCCH LS7 Stage II heads onto my otherwise stock LS7 with AHR longtubes and KBII intake.

Having some issues with HP Tuners so I was unable to tune the car so this is just a base line pull the car was running fairly rich at WOT but I think it's about dead on.

Before the WCCH head install dyno numbers:

474 rwhp / 469 rwtq

After the WCCH head install dyno numbers with zero tuning:

505 rwhp / 480 rwtq

SAME DYNO.

30 rwhp gain and 20 rwtq AND my engine doesn't blow up when I rag on my car? I'll take it

On another note my stock motor'ed E85 powered Buick T-type with a TE60 Turbo and FMIC made:

485 rwhp / 568 rwtq on 31PSI Can't wait till I put the big motor/turbo combo in early next year!

Definitely a fringe benefit.

I went ahead and put you on the "PUP" list. (Physically Unable to Pop due to a broken stock exhaust valve) List

How much were your heads milled?

I'm curious what gains, if any, are had on stock manifolds and intake with WCCH stage II heads. I have WCCH stage II heads on an otherwise completely stock motor, and I only had surface milling done on mine so I don't expect any significant change in my CR. I didn't notice any SOTP difference at all after installation. I will be doing a tune to take full advantage of the WCCH heads, of course I did the heads for post-warranty reasons more so than the performance.

Anyway nice gains.

My WCCH were only milled .005 for clean-up so no increase in compression.

Funny you should ask...

I was able to drop by the shop and build a before/after dyno comparison and I've updated my DIY thread to show the dyno results.
