Default My new personal best

Great day at the track today. I am happy to say I now belong to the 10's club in the Z06.

Bone stock except drag radials:

10.892@128.62

Thank you to FNBADAZ06 for all the pointers and encouragement. Hopefully we will meet up some day.

Great, Propain

Only a few people have been able to do that bone stock and on drag radials.

What was the DA?

No doubt.

I think that makes you now just the third Z06 owner in here to get into the 10s bone stock in a Z06. Ron and Gary and now you.

Congrats again.

Thanks Quick!

wow really? I figured it just hadn't been updated. I was looking at the fast list. Looks like 7 others. I think I just squeaked in at 4 place overall. Amazing how similar Steven Row and my run were.

I actually meant the 3rd person at ATCO. The others were done at MIR and one other was done by C5 Frank at Palm Beach International Raceway.

The people to do this at Atco are Gary, Ron and now you.

Gary's is unlisted, but there is a thread in here describing it.

But needless to say, it's not easy to do, even in a good DA. In all these years, there are only about 8 people to pull this off.

Great driving.

I am honored to be among those greats. I would love to see what she can do at MIR. I was pretty bummed out I missed the last one.

The track was pretty torn up at ATCO this time out due to it being so cold but the tires gripped well. Everyone was using 1 lane because the other had a lot of wheel hop issues. Ill post up some video of my launches and how the track looked after it finishes processing.

Thanks again.

Funny you mention that because I heard of the Atco rental while I was at MIR and pretty much knew that I would not be able to make it to Atco. Then got a PM about it again, going into the week of Thanksgiving, and definitely knew that I would not be able to make it.

With the rain delay right off the bat, pretty much using up the best of the good air, and then that accident delaying things even further, you actually made out running at Atco, probably better than you would have at MIR.

Don't get me wrong, it was a great time, but looking back, if we could have started at 9:00 AM as planned, it would have been a lot better.

So don't feel too bad about missing MIR and making it to Atco today.

Yeah it sounded like it. Any day racing is a good day to me though. ATCO is just closer and we private rent it at least 4 times a year. MIR is a fast track though. I still hold the record on that track in my C63. You need to meet me at the next one. I think I told you about this one too!

The cold air is great but the track was really cold and took a while to warm up. Everyone who started at 9AM had terrible 60's. Finally after many passes and some sun the track temp (not the air) warmed up to about 58 degrees and we started seeing some really nice times.
