Seats are black and they look like those pictured above, the car is a 2lz.........the car is in the shop having race seats etc installed. I dont know if the passenger seat is power or not, my guess is that it isnt.
I did not know powered'pass seats were even offered in any trim level??
I would say, $ 1,000 - $ 1,500 for the set. While there is no demand for them, you will be surprised at how many beat up Zs are out there (especially on earlier models). If someone does not want to go through the trouble of re-upholstering the old ones, this may do the trick.
If they are suede inserts and seat bottoms and have power passenger lumber AND side bolsters like the driver seat does, Id say $1.5K easy. Otherwise, $1,000 or less. Youre better off parting them out. Companies like Apsis will buy the cores (seats and tracks, everything but foam and seat skins) for a good $500 and shipping. And then you can sell the skins and foam as a kit to anyone looking to upgrade their factory seats for a good $600-800 ironically. Youd make a decent $1.2K doing that. Good luck.
Seat track and wiring harness for one seat is worth about $200 with the passenger seat being worth a little more since before 2010 you couldn't get a power passenger seat with any level of Z trim, the lumbar support is worth about $50 per side, plastic bezel (for power seat switch) is about $20, the metal bracket that holds it is worth about $20, the seat switch itself is worth about $30 and the lumbar switch is worth about $30. All used prices. Really doesn't matter whether they are from a 2012 or a 2006 as long as they are in good shape. Those are the approximate prices I paid to upgrade my 08 3LZ seats to full sport seat capability earlier this year. All of the parts were out of a low mile 2010 that got totaled. Seat foam and seat skins from a new car are probably about half of what Parts Taxi gets for the same parts new.
A pair of complete sport seats in good condition goes for $1200 to $1500 depending on the place selling them. Do a search on eBay to see how many are being sold. Problem is shipping costs on the whole seat are high and will probably reduce the chance you can sell them as whole seats. That is what killed things for me when I was looking for the most cost effective way to do an upgrade plus I didn't have to get rid of the old seats.
Thanks for the replys. Ive had a few PM, the seats are currently in Va. but I can get them to my place in Fla early next month. They are heated but Im not sure if the passenger seat is power or not as Im not where the seats are. Im not looking for a killing so I think the fair price is 1k it is just a matter of working out getting them to or picked up by the buyer.
