***9.9x sec Fastest 1/4 mile N/A Canadian C6 Z06***
Like title said, Today was my first coming out at the dragstrip this year in racing forms.
New and only performance mods for this year, before you ask to me, is my new custom grind cam that I'm really proud of. I have called it : ''The Iceman''
All I would tell about this cam, is that it take some year of r/d with many software. Many trial and errors is time consuming over year. I don't want compromise in drivability and performance and the big lumpy lumpy at 1000 RPM at idle nor lower trq and hp below 4000RPM. I want it very easy on the valvetrain like the stock cam or so.
So today was not perfect for setting record. Not that crazy record DA you guys get .
+220 DA no more no less.
I made a total of 8 passes with the car , I'm dealing with traction issues.Trying different ride height with the stock leafs, setting on shocks, tire pressure, launch technics....At the end I was lost !!! loll I'm wondering if it was driver errors or track preparation or my 2 years old hoosier 315-35-17 ...
From the driver point of view , plenty are left on the table. The car should be able to run 9.85 consistently with no fuc**k **ing crazy DA. Only a good start 0-60' with a very sticky track
