Default 427 with Katech aero parts

Just finished installing Katech carbon fiber rear spoiler, side skirts, and front splitter (with reinforcement). Parts all fit great and had very good fit and finish. It is noted that the stock 427 rear spoiler had 10 bolts fixing it to the rear deck while the Katech part had 4 and some adhesive. Obviously, in an open car, these pieces are likely mostly aesthetic but I preferred the exposed carbon look to the painted pieces GM offers on the 427.

Nigel,

I think we just found the official pace car for next year's Katech Track Attack!

Wow I really like your car, is it TR or VR? Any plans on lowering it?

Default Good looking vert

Don't lower it, it takes away from real life drivability. I always thought my Z's were low enough

Thanks. I agree that it would look better lowered. BUT.....It is my understanding that cars with the Magnetic Ride Control really cannot be lowered without seriously confusing the electronics of the suspension system. I'm not really interested in doing the pfadt system since this car rides so well with Magnetic Ride.

Or the LG drop spindles. That is some serious cash right there.

I love the Katech Aero kit on our Z. And it's functional. So far the best mod I have done.

No you can lower your car a bit using the stock adjusters without any issues. Talk to Jason, he got the opportunity to figure everything out about Magnetic Ride Control (including installing drop spindles) playing around with my car Beautiful car and thank you, received the box the other day and everything was perfect
