Default WCCH / Brodix Heads Install

Decided to change out the heads / valves on the Z due to all the issues that are going on. After speaking with Richard @ WCCH I decided to do the Brodix set up w/ CHE Rockers. I told him I was basically looking for reliability with a little bump in power. I understand there are many ways to go about fixing this issue and this is the way I decided to go. I will be posting before and after dyno sheets as well as pictures of the heads new Brodix Heads

Heads pulled and all is ok. Actually they looked really good for 30k.

They are now for sale with Katech Springs and Ti Retainers & keepers, Stock Rockers w/Trunion Upgrade. $1500 Shipped.

I will keep the post up to date. It has been around a week since I contacted Richard from WCCH via a referral from Jason from Katech.

I placed the order with WCCH on 10/04/2012. I spoke to Richard yesterday and he said he expects to have the heads ready for shipment on 10/10 or 10/11.

The cars mods are pretty extensive so I will just lay out the basics that will apply to the thread. Stock block 2006 427 Z 30k, Katech Torquer 110, ATI Damper, Fast 102 / NW 102, Injectors, Kooks, Corsa, LS9X w/Tick Master.

Sweet man. Any reason you decided to go with the Brodix heads and not the PRC's or the worked WCCH heads?

Well they are a little more beefy in all the right places, which allows for a little more porting without sacrificing reliability. Also it saves about two weeks of down time. There will / are plenty of folks that will be needing stock heads for cores or to replace damaged heads. So I am going to sell my stock heads.

Not sure I understand. If your goal is max flow at high rpms and the Brodix castings have the meat to accomodate this, this will sacrifice the torque at the lower rpms. Perhaps I don't understand your goal. Please explain further.

What up yo....I am not sure where you read I was shooting for Max Flow @ High RPM's. Did you just make that up or misread the post
