2007, 19k miles... valves were Way IN SPEC some 7 months and 3k miles/5 track days ago Figured I should check again after Mike's blown motor at ACS! Glad I did!
Glad you posted up Dave. Yes it was you I was referring to. In my opinion you made the right choice. It takes a lot more for our SS valves to fail compared to the hollow ones. I don't and I don't think you now need to worry either that your car will turn into a fireball like Mikes

Plus as you know Mike, Tim, You and Tim's other buddy Mike all recently failed Donny's wiggle test. Only my WCCH heads passed the wiggle test when Donny checked them. And I had more over all miles and more track days than your stock heads.

Please tell us all about your wiggle test!

This has to be the 1st wiggle test on WCCH rebuilt heads with some miles on them. How did it turn out?

Please guys, any discussions about wiggle tests and such, I am going to have to ask be discussed in another thread.

In this one, I am making an attempt only to keep track of the forum members in here running stainless steel exhaust valves.

Thank you for your co operation.

I've been lurking on these LS7 valve threads since I bought my 427 in January, very interesting and educational. Thanks for sharing all the thought and knowledge.

Went thru the heads with 7,000 miles, absolutely no wear on factory valve guides so we opted not to replace with bronze.
Update:

Just had Darin Morgan CNC port, install manganese bronze guides and changed my solid stem SS valves to the 1.610" hollow stem SS Ferrea valves. I hope to have the car running again later this week. Changing cam from 231/247 to 237/247, should be interesting!
