Just curious how the 2013 Z06 sales are going. I have seen many 427 Convertibles sales on here, but haven't noticed any 2013 Z06's.

I know in my area, I'm not seeing too many Z's either. Lots of GS cars and some 427 verts. There's some huge incentives right now though and I'm considering ordering a '13 Z06 (should have just done that to begin with).
I'm looking at possible doing an inferno orange 1lz.

Good question. The Z06 production trend line certainly seems to be headed down...
Production numbers for all C6 Z06 model years:
2006 - 6272
2007 - 8159
2008 - 7731
2009 - 3461
2010 - 518
2011 - 904
2012 - 478
2013 - ???

Can't say that I've seen a 2013 on the street. In the dealer's showroom, I have seen the 2013's, including a yellow 427 Convertible, a white 60th Anniversary 427 convertible, a white 60th Anniversary GS vert, and a white 60th Anniversary Z06, at Reliable.
The 60th Anniversary Z06 was sweet.

Note that the GS arrived in 2010. Coincidence? I am in no way implying the GS is a performance match to the Z06. I will speculate the GS package hurt Z06 sales.

I traded in my 02 Z for a 13 427 Vert. I saw the ZR1 (friend owns one) in the Anniversary Edition and it was okay, but I was tired of the hard top and never had a vert, so with this car..........I have it both. Best of both worlds.

Inferno Orange is no longer available for orders. SBM might also not be available. I have pondered the idea to order 1LZ w/Z07 last week, but the problem is it would be built in November if I ordered, and $3K loyalty rebate ends by end of October!
Anyhow, I had a huge revelation later on: F55 INCLUDES PTM in all '13 Z06s! In '12, it was only included with Centennial/F55 or Z07 packages, and did not even exist in '11. This allows me to save $10K from Z07 package.
The whole reason for me to get the Z07 package was PTM, and this helps me save! F55 already comes with cup wheels, and what is now only offered by Z07 package is the mandatory CF package, the carbon-ceramic brakes, and that additional oil cooler. CF package looks gorgeous, but is overpriced, and the brakes would block me from using my current wheel sets and race pads that I already have anyway, so it somehow works out.
The only 2 dealers close to me to do business are Fitchner and Boardwalk. Fitchner did not have any '13 left, and Boardwalk had a few remaining (and I cannot order since I'd be missing loyalty rebate). I am driving down tomorrow to grab a Cyber-gray '13 Z06 2LZ with F55 and ZR1 spoiler. With less than $70K with all the rebates/offers applied, I think it is a great value!

FYI, I found another volume-dealer, Patrick Murphy who said he could give an order and make it by the $3K loyalty rebate (told me the details, but I forgot it; sorry). His best pricing offer was about $1500 more, though, which eats up half of that incentive.

Second-gen F55 with PTM is certainly the game changer for Corvettes, which improves both comfort and handling by a big margin. In my opinion, it will be just as good, or even faster than the one with Z07 package at the track with my lighter ('06-'08) Z06 wheels shod with MPSC tires in 295/345 front/rear, and ST47/43 race pads with big bite on solid rotors. Now my only fear is: does F55 and PTM work fine on different tires sizes?

Economy hurt the 2009 but also the ZR1(for those that wanted the absolute Top Dog) hurt the Z06 sales. In 2010 the GS came along(for those who wanted the Top Dog look but not the performance) and with the economy, just about nailed the lid shut.

That really stinks about the Inferno Orange. Although I knew looking at ordering this close would have drawbacks.
That kind of changes things a bit, I may wait for a possible C7 Z06 at that point.
Thanks for the info guys.

Even if it will, it will not be offered in first year as far as the rumor hill goes in C7 discussions.

Do you mean the Carbon edition? I actually almost got a Carbon edition for about the same price, but in the last minute learned that Carbon edition does NOT have PTM. That was a deal-breaker.

Thank you! I am clearly losing more than a few grand by trading in my '12 GS too early, but I also know that we won't get deals as good as this one for a few years, not to mention LS7 will be going away, which might end up being the NA engine with the most low-end torque and dropped valves GM will ever offer.
