Pics of my heads from WCCH
My tuner called and said my heads came in from WCCH( Got to love over night shipping)
These look beautiful !
Here's some pictures, Richard was super nice to deal with knows these heads well. My heads had 1300 miles and already the exhaust guides were showing heavy wear and the finish on the intake valve were very rough.
I went with stage 2 cnc ports, Bronze guide,1 piece stainless valves , Tumble polished stock intake valves and Manley springs and retainers and milled to 11.6 to 1.

Nice, I just recently got mine done and it has definitely given me some peace of mind. I didn't ask how bad the wear was on my heads, but at 40k on the odometer and out of warranty it's definitely a good feeling knowing that the heads are virtually new.

Did Richard provide you with some measurements that show how much wear on the exhaust guides? If not, would you check back with him for specifics please? I'm sure I'm not the only person who would like to know. Thanks.

They look great. Identical to what I had done except I stuck with the OEM exhaust valve, just replaced with new ones. I picked up good hp and tq at the wheels after tuning, and it drove much better down low with the additional compression. Hope you see the same results.
See if Richard can provide you with the exact guide specs like he did the rest of us. Just curious as to how mine were perfectly in spec at 20,000 miles, but yours were not at 1300miles.

I don't know the overnight shipping yet, the shop that's doing the work (LHT) sent them. I would think around $200 each way.:/
Richard said he had a pair of LS9 ( ZR1) heads with 200 miles on them that already had excessive wear. He's a knowledgeable guy on these heads and the LS motors. He will tell you straight how cheap GM went in areas of these motors.I think it's sloppy QC on GMs part why some of these runs 40K miles and some go 5k. My intake valve stems were rough which would cause wear to even new bronze guides.
I will update this thread soon with pics soon as my cam is in and soon be ready to install the heads and tune.

Mine total without shipping was just less than $2500.00. That was for new SS Exhaust valves, Bronze guides, Manley dual springs and vitron seals, CHE Rocker mod, Stage 2 CNC porting and .030 milled. Tumble polished my stock intake valves and reused.
