BIG Billy Boat Gen III Fusion EXTREMES (sound clip)
At times I may have been a little impatient, but a special thanks to Billy Boat for a QUALITY American made product and Randy at Ragin Racin for a good price and good service.
It is like driving a new car. The EXPERIENCE! Sounds and looks GREAT! Too loud? You can close the flaps or do what I do and give it more gas!
My expectations have been exceeded and I hope that you enjoy the video. Seriously though, a couple revs are NO JUSTICE for the unbelievable sound.
My car is a 2007 504 RWHP Z06 with a modest tune, Halltech SUPER BEE MF103, KOOKS 1 7/8" headers and BIG Billy Boat Gen III Fusion EXTREMES! :thumbs
Here is a similar sound clip with the only difference being stock NPP exhaust.

To tell you the truth, I thought that there would be more of a difference with the Gen III's between the two modes at idle. It doesn't matter to me, but I thought that with the valves closed it would be a little more quiet than it actually is at idle.
I don't take long trips and don't care about drone. I did however, pay a little bit of attention yesterday because I know that drone, or lack of drone is important to many. When I am cruising on the highway at 60 MPH around 1200 - 1400 RPM's it sounds like motor is not even running. IMO ZERO drone and whisper quiet under those circumstances.
Again, sound clips do not do this exhaust any favors. It sounds SICK and I could not ask for a better sounding exhaust.

One more thing. I used a cheap scale and just weighed myself and then held the mufflers. (All four of them.) I got that the B&B's weighed 26 or 27 pounds each. 52 or 54 pound total. For the stock, I got 26 or 27 for one and 27 or 28 for the other. 53 or 55 pound total.
Far from scientific, but they are pretty much the same weight. If anything, I think that the B&B's may be a pound or so lighter!

After spending some more time with mine it has really grown on me. I like the tone in both modes a lot but it is louder then stock in both modes.

I was dead set on going with the PRT's cause I didn't care to much for the sound of the fusion, Now... WOW is all I can say, that is what a vette should sould like. Can you PM me the price on them. Incredible sound, all though not much difference between open and closed but who cares! Thanks for posting!

Not even close to a hi jack. Completely relevant. Sounds GOOD!
I am all about American Muscle and I do not want to get flamed, but have always REALLY liked the sound of high hp Ford Mustangs. I would say throaty and unique to Fords.
I definitely don't want to beat a dead horse, but the sound of my car with these BIG Gen III Billy Boat Fusion EXTREMES is NUTZ. Sounds like a THROATY Chevy and believe me it is like driving a new and better car. It is UNBELIEVABLE! I will eventually report on the quiet mode, but just can not flip the SUNSET ORANGE CREATIONS switch to quiet it down. It sounds WAY too good in the loud mode and it is NASCAR loud!
