Default Drivers seat loose / moves a bit under acceleration

Does anyone else have this problem? The seat is securely attached to the floor, so that isn't it.

I seem to remember seeing a thread here, or possibly saw a vendor selling replacement bushings, but can't find it today. Am I smoking crack?

Thanks.

You might want to check the C5 section on this; they had "seat movement" problems too.

Thanks for the comments and links. I get the impression that it's going to be a troublesome and expensive fix.

What year? Are you under warranty? I had the same issue with my 2009. Took back to the dealer, and they said it was known issue and they fixed it.

Nope...mine does the same thing....it's still under warranty so I will tell them to fix it next spring before warranty runs out....

I'd like to have mine fixed but dealerships scare me.

Have to ask because I am bringing mine in to the dealership, was your problem the riser that elevates the seat?

Thanks

I was told it was a bracket. Not really sure which part was replaced. The car is still in the shop for other warranty items..I get the car back next week and will let you know exactly what they replaced..
