Default Refinish Rims -- Howell, NJ Area

Hi! I have a 2006 Z06 with "chrome" rims. The high quality GM clear coat is coming off. Does anyone know of any shops in the central New Jersey area who re-finishes rims. I would like to have my actual rims done. I do not want to trade them in as a core. Thanks!!!

There's a place not too far from you in Burlington called Wheel Works on Route 130. I've never used them but I know others that have and they were pretty happy with the work.
I'd post their number but it might be against forum rules (non sponsor).

Are they high polish or chrome? The high polish wheels have a clear coat I suspect the chrome wheels don't.

Hey i'm from ocean township and work in the car business so i know a lot of wheel guys. you can try advanced wheel repair out of Jackson. also the place kwicksilver wheel repair (www.kwicksilverusa.com) has a pretty good reputation although I have heard repairing chrome and or alloy wheels are almost impossible.... good luck!

Not so sure about kwicksilver. Talked to him about painting my wheels with a yellow stripe. Called me right back, told him what I wanted, emailed him pics. Assured me that he'd get back to me the next day "no matter what". That was five weeks ago, so evidently he couldn't even be bothered to respond to the email, let alone call to say he wasn't interested. Nice way to run a business. Happy ending anyway, found a local guy who did a great job for me.
