[Z06] So how much money do you think you've spent in mods?
#41
My calculator keeps freezing up. I don't think it's used to numbers that large. To be honest, everytime I think I've got everything listed, I think of something else. Probably 50k. Money wisely spent.
I spent many years scrubbing behind toilets with a toothbrush to make sure my tenants would have a nice place to move into. Now I get to enjoy the fruits of all that scrubbing.

I love the brakes....the people who think I'm going to run a red light and stop in the middle of the intersection...not so much....

I would hate to actually sit down and think about it. After the first cammed motor blowing up, now a Katech Street Attack 427, ARE 3 Stage dry sump, alum radiator, coil overs, sways, bushings, brakes, roll bar, LS9R clutch, black headlights, wheels, and so much more I am sure we have nearly doubled the cost of the car.

$3 - pack of LED fuses to do the CAGS delete. Went back to normal fuses, though.
$7 - Aluminum bar stock and assorted hardware to replace missing stock battery hold-down. (Req'd by SCCA)
That's everything except oil, gas and tires since I bought it last November... 15k miles ago.

LPE CNC porting work on the heads $1300
New LS7 head with Ferrea super alloy heads and GM Ti valves $3000
Machine shop work $2500
Maggie LS7 TVS2300 $6500
LPE Drive system $1500

Katech LS9R clutch $1600
I am sure there is more these are just the things I can remember.
Install labor, was free if you don't put a price tag on doing it all myself, but in the end it cost me because I actually had to do it all in my shop and had to make an appointment in my own shop to do it all there. So in the end the cost of l lost business for the week had a pretty big price tag, but all in all it was fun and I finally got it all installed and done.
