C6 Z06 at Byron dragstrip.
1 of my 1st passes in the Z06, getting use to the new LS9 cluch, was at the track last week before this and my LS9 cluch failed and broke on my very 1st pass, I could use some more seat time in the Z06, + some better track prep dude to car being on street tires. This was the last T&T for the season, so im sure with some better track prep will hit 10's, also next time will shift car at 7k insted of 6,500rpm.

Very nice ets and mph what area all yours mods and what tires were your running in the videos?
Your post says you had a failure with an LS9 clutch, was that a typo and you meant to say LS7 clutch, or did a LS9 clutch fail on you?
What clutch you running now?
More seat time and getting that 60 ft time down will yield some REALLY nice ets.

Also what type of tire are you on? I know the prep at byron is always fantastic. I was cutting 1.5 60 fts that day in my.
Just saw more of your youtube vids, I know you. Pm'd you.

Sweet heads and cam Z06 you have there my friend.
Now if it was only the end of April instead of the end of November her in Chi-Town, that would be great!

nice setup. I think your mph is pretty low for the mods, what kind of numbers did you put down on the dyno? I had the same setup (basically) and consistently trapped 132-135mph depending on the weather, 560whp. Get some smaller wheels and drag radials and you'll see a big improvement. 60ft is everything. Good luck, and have fun!

And also on a street tire and no seat time in car with new setup. I’m very sure car has a 130+ trap speed in it. I have a set of my OEM C5 Z06 rims that I’m going to be using for drag rims this upcoming year.

Does this clutch drive like the ls7? I'm making close to the same power as you with my cam only setup from vengeance. So far my stocker is holding up, well that and the street tires helps, lol.
