Ok, be honest! Who is considering selling their C6Z for a C7?
I've said numerous times that NOTHING will get in my way of keeping my 2006 Z06. Its like my first child. Its not a financial burden and its close to being paid for.
With that said, the ONLY reason I would sell it would be to purchase a C7. Now as we all know, when the C7 is announced, the prices for the C6 will take a hit in resale value. A bigger hit than a 2014 C6 would provide.
Who here is toying around with selling there Z06 to buy a C7?
Obviously we know next to nothing about the C7 right now but my money is on it being a smash hit all across the board.

I love my 06 Z06 also. It only has 10,000 miles on it (2,500 by the 1st owner, 7,500 by me in the last 14 months). I guess I'll just have to wait and see after the C7 is out for a couple of years. I always keep my old Corvettes and move the newer one every couple of years but this Z06 is a different animal.
If the C7 Z06 is lighter, faster, more fuel efficient and looks better I would be tempted. Won't buy the 1st year though. Made that mistake with a new 05

i will get c7 when available....
every gen has been an improvement....don't see that changing now
only thing that may stop me is if i get great deal on zr1...don't really see that happening cause it really has to be a steal

Not I, love my 427 ci Z, and I don't think we will ever see another 427 ci engine in a vette, making our Zs EXTRA special!

Unless the C7 is REALLY spectacular, I'll be keeping my 09 Z06 until ????????
I'm betting the C7 will use the C6 chassis but have a 5.5L direct injection engine with new body panels and interior like they did with the new 1968 C3.

Nope. My 09' Z06 is the last corvette I'll ever buy. Not because I don't like it, but the opposite. It already does everything I want and expect it to do. I've owned 6 corvettes in my life, and I don't see any reason why I need to move on to a 7th. Maybe I'm getting old, but I don't have the fever for sports cars like I've had most of my life.
Next car purchase will be a sedan, probably a BMW 5 series.

There are 3 reasons why I would get a C7:
- Lighter with equal or more power
- Slightly heavier with considerably more power (20%+)
- If it came with Adriana Lima on the pass. side - ok, fine, maybe not - but if the car looked more appealing than my current Z06 and had any of the 2 reasons above, I would pull the trigger. Looks alone would not do it for me though...
Not necessarily in that order.

Not for a C7.....but seriously considering a ZR1. The only thing stopping me is my laundry list of mods and the aggravation of selling them. If it weren't for that I think I would all ready be in one.....

I have the car that I want. Only thing better would be to have another one colored Atomic Orange.
