Mine was a slightly different failure. Vacumm seleniod failed. At first I thought MtoW was broke, but troubleshooting ruled that out.
If it is your selenoid valve you can get to it by removing both passenger side taillights. There is a rubber cover that is the hardest part of the whole thing if you don't know that you can remove the valve without taking it off and with no tools..... The valve clips onto the metal bracket under the rubber cover. You can remove the two vacuum lines, and unclip it. Then unplug it. The part on my 2009 is made in Germany and is labelled: Pierburg PA6-GF30. They are $55 from the Chevy dealer

My question is do you guys think I should get a different exhaust. I have the Mild To Wild now and like it but I had a cat back and headers on my 2011 Camaro SS and ready liked how it sounded.

If you pulled the fuse and there is no difference in sound, then either you are hard of hearing or there is something wrong. When you pull the fuse, then the butterfly valves stay open all the time (assuming stock exhaust). With the fuse in, the butterfly valves should be closed under 3.5 k rpm and there should be a very noticeable difference in sound when the valves are open versus closed.
With the fuse installed, start the car and then go look at the 2 inside exhaust pipes. If the valves are open, then you have a problem somewhere, either with the vacuum line or the solenoid.

I have it but I rarely use it. Drone on the highway drives me absolutely crazy. Kills all the base in the radio. Only time I use it is cruising slow through parking lots at meets to impress the ladies and when I get a wild hair, roll down the windows, crank the music to speaker-blowing levels, and drive the **** out of the car.

YES! Your money is of no concern to me, so I think you should spare no expense and get the Akra Ti Evo system (x-pipe and axle back system).
