Default The Z06 with the Z07 package is a fing BEAST

Yes it has a "old fashioned" tranny. Yea the interior is not par with a Ferrari, BUT it goes and sounds like stink for less than 50% of the high end exotics. And you can maintain it your self for almost nothing. What else is there to say? The haters will always be haters..........

Nope, that's the new Zo6 exhaust starting in 2011. I have it in my Zo7 and it night and day from my 08Z.

Great vid! Not bad for a design that's so late in it's lifespan, huh?!?!?

Only half a second slower. The ACR record was 1:33.915. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjU0MyL10cg

GM should send a ZR1 with cup tires to Laguna and shatter that record. Maybe even break the record with the Z06 with Magnussen driving. Not that Pobst isn't capable of doing it himself also with more attempts.

Man that sounds great. A lot better than my '08. Too bad you can't get JSB anymore. Oh well, it would probably cost me $40k or more to trade up anyway.

Totally agree. Have to remember that the 1:33.x time for the Viper wasn't done like Motor Trend's group test where the driver has just a few laps to get used to the car. When Pobst ran the ACR, he lapped in 1:35.12.

Can the new exhaust be transplanted on a 2009 without any modifications?

Btw, what's with the dots on the steering wheel?

Cool sounding American Muscle at it's best

Man, that video is causing a lot of debate on youtube. LFA lovers are crying "it's not fair" because of the tires. LFA's cost $375000. WTF? A 2012 CE Z06 and a nice house with large garage to keep it in -vs- an LFA. Hmmmm. What would you choose?

Hold on -- what is the difference between the '09 and '11 or '12 Z06 exhaust systems?

Trust me. That is stock. 2011 X cross over. Made a big difference in how it sounds.
