Default Best tuners in Houston area

Who are the best tuners in or around Houston? As always all opinions welcomed and appreciated. I should be getting my car back in a few weeks and wanted to get some opinions.

I haven't had mine tuned yet but I've been to England Green a couple times just to get a feel for the place and I get a good feeling with them. I will be taking my business there. Both times I went there they took the time to talk to me and show me around, the first time I didn't even own a corvette.

Default England green

I had just the opposite experience with England green and it was not good, they tried tuning my 2002 Z06 and kept telling me there was something wrong with my car and could not tune it?? Had the car for a week and still no tune. Went to Fast lane next, worse than england green?? Tuned the car and it ran worse than before!! Went to Chuck anders in North Houston and it took him about two hours to fix what the other two bozos screwed up.Runs like a bear now almost 600 rwhp. Can't get traction now?? Just my experience??

Has anybody used Serious Horsepower in Houston? It looks like they work on quite a few different platforms.

Here's the thing I have heard bad and good things about all of the shops mentioned above. And truth is they have all done work that wasn't right. So the best advise I can give you is call and visit some of the shops. Get your own impression for the shops and make your own decision.

None of the above. I take my car to Shawn at Lethal Racing in Louisiana.

Yes. They have my Z06 there now for heads refresh, exhaust, tune, and upgrading the oiling system. I have 3 other friends that use them, each with Z06 or a Viper. There's another thread in the SW section about SeriousHP doing a dynoday soon.

That is the best thing to do because every shop has had problems but its how they fix them that make them the better shop. I've talked to a few shops around here and it sounds like they either have to much business or they don't have time to answer any questions.

I've been on the Dyno at 3 different places here in Houston. Pretty much trying to find the best place to go all the time, not just for tuning. The best tune I got by far was at Late Model Racecraft. I think mostly because they paid attention to the other issues going on with the car before they did the tune.
