Michelin PS2's on the Z
I just had 345/30/19's and 295/35/18's installed this morning. No rubbing issues up front, but they are a tight fit. They are alot quieter than the original GY's. I haven't driven them much yet and haven't done any twisty canyon runs yet. They sure feel nice. Hope they last longer than the OEM tires! I'll try to post a couple of pics later.

Looking forward to hearing your remarks after you have made some canyon runs.
I need to get some tires in the next few months and have narrowed my choices down to PS2's or Invos.

I've has PS2's on my Z for over 1.5yrs and they've been awesome. Much more predictable then the GY run craps. More quiet, and more stickier too. I love them.

Of the 2 types of tires that you were considering you made the right choice. I look forward to your impressions as you put more miles on them. By the way, your color and wheel combo is outstanding- of course, I may be a bit biased.

Those look great. I have had the PS2ZPs in stock sizes on my 08 JSB for the past year. They look like bicycle tires compared to your meats.

These are non-run flat, correct?

Not yet, but I don't have many miles on them yet. I selected the 345 to 295 combo because the difference in revolutions/mile was identical to the stock set up, so I don't really expect any issues. The speedo might be off a little, but I don't care about that.

I laid the 345's next to the GY 325's and they were only slightly wider. The fronts are bigger than the GY 275's for sure. As I posted earlier the delta between the front and rear rev's per mile for the Michelins is exactly the same as the GY's. In my mind this makes them a correct size for the car.

They do - they are ZR1 OEMs (if you go 19/20). Achilds put Viper tires on the back and his fronts - I don't know where Michelin got those from. The Viper front is 275 instead of Achilds 295 if you want a little smaller.

They are great tires. should stay plenty stickey for you for 24 months of so, then they start to harden.
I have 12K on mine. fronts still look great rears are close to wear bars.
I'm replacing them with some OEM take off Zr1 wheels 19/20 and a recent production run of OEM PS2 ZP's. I'm sure I will miss the cushy sidewalls of those 345's non ZP's in the rear running stiff coilovers.

The 295/35/18 he used is the OE size for a C5Z rear...also used on some porsche and mercedes applications.
