Great Racing at PBIR with some Forum members
This was 2nd night at PBIR with my new clutch and drag pack. With the guidance of two members Joe G and Ranger I was able to make two great passes. A 10.46 and a 10.49 at 133.70 and 134.28. The 60 ft times were 1.57 and 1.62. Best MPH was 135.18 for the night. Joe G has promised to post my video and slip. My mods are mild Comp cam, 102 fast, AR headers, MGW, Vararam CIA, 160 T., RPS twin lite carbon, and 3.90 gears. HP sales sold and and installed the Mods and Jeremy did the performance dyno tune. Jeremy, Roger, Jason and Mike know what products work with each other and gave me great advice. It was a pleasure meeting long time forum members and Especially the well spoken, kind, and knowledgible like Joe G and Ranger. Made some new friends and really had a wonderfull night of Racing in cool weather.

Tom, my hat's off to you, you just might get the most improved drag racer award!
For such a low number of runs, what, 15 runs under your belt? You quickly learned to man handle that car of yours and get some great times.
Here's your slip, I'll have some videos later.
Seriously, way to go. I know you had the goal, I'm amazed how quickly you honed in on the launch and got such great improvements.
Ranger, thanks for joining us and providing the excellent guidance. You were like a fine coach, spending a lot of time with each and helping 4 members achieve PB's last night!
Video added. Worth noting that this is Tom's 19th pass in the car (and on the strip since the 80's).

Fun watching you get progressively faster as the night went on. That 10.46 pass would place you in the #2 slot on the Fast List Internal Engine Mods plus Bolt-Ons (see bottom of post-1), if you will make a submission (see Rule-1).
Faster times are in your future, as you tuck away the learnings from last night at PBR. Congratulations, once again.

Hoping to see those four post new submissions for the Fast List.
Great to finally meet you face-to-face Joe, after all the PMs, emails and x-posts over the years,. Hope we can do that again at some point.

Same here. Felt like I'd met an old friend who I hadn't seen in years but have known for a lifetime. I'm looking forward to our next outing, It was really fun working with you and the others. Great camaraderie and a good time had by all. I just need to get a better video camera before our next outing.

Thank you Joe G and Ranger for being there for us South Fl racers. I know for a fact that left to my own devices' I would still be boging the launches and scratching my head. Thanks again. TKR

Congrats TKR, as I stated to you at the track your car is sick. Hope to get the video posted because watching your passes is exciting loud and dramatic as hell.
You tamed that fire throwing beast last night!

When you invest hundreds of passes learning to tweak out the last bit of performance, it's a real joy to share your successful tips, and importantly, your unsuccessful attempts, with folks trying to achieve their PB's. I get a ton of joy watching you guys bang out your PB's and sharing in your pleasure!

Congrats on the new Personal best, hitting #2 on the Internal Bolt on list and just flat out flying down there guys!!!!!!!!! Making me jealous and worried at the same time. I'm gonna have to sharpen my pencil on my car to fine tune it a bit. I need to see 10.2x's this year to stay ahead of the pack.

Some videos of our evening with our guest Ranger
Here are some videos from the evening. Nice to re-live a great evening while preparing these. Best part of all was we drove home.
Ranger thanks again for all your help.
Boys lets do it again before summer hits next month.
My only run of the night. I need a couple/three runs to get in my groove, but now that I've got my 10 I'm not so keen on beating on my 49,000 mile, 433 pass stock clutch anymore.
Justasheet's new PB. His car ran dead nuts consistent all night, 11.4's
This 2011 Mustang is out there a lot. This thing is really fast for his mods and he drives the bejeezus out of it. Always a fun watch.
