Default Bolt-On's to 500 RWHP

Is it possible to hit 500 RWHP on a C6 Z06 with just bolt-ons? All the bolt on Z06's I have seen come just a tad shy of 500 RWHP, usually in the 480~ range. I'm guessing Long tubes, intake and tune wouldn't be enough right? Any other simple bolt ons that can be done to achieve those numbers, without taking the engine apart?

I made 501 RWHP, on Kooks Headers, Kooks X-pipe, Corsa Exhaust, K&N Intake and a tune. ABout 4k worth of upgrades.

I made 490 with LG headers, haltech KB1, and tuning it myself. Conservative setup for 91 octane. Several people have made over 500rwhp.

No. It does have a corsa on now, but the numbers were pre-corsa. Mine is an 06 and I've heard they may have put out the highest numbers of all the years to date.

I have not seen that many do it in the shop but I have had a few customers reach it. Most seem to be 2009 or 2010 cars, although that shouldn't matter.

With our LG Super Pro Long Tube headers, LG Carbon cold air, and dyno tune we have had a few hit 500-506 HP at the rear tires on our Dyno Jett. I have yet to see anyone break the 506 number without a cam.

I have not done it with those and a FAST intake manifold, which is still technically a bolt on, so you should be able to do it.

To hit a solid 500rwhp, you would need:

Intake
FAST 102
Ported LS7 TB
Headers+X-pipe
Tune

That should yield a SOLID (i.e. on every dyno you can put the car on) 500rwhp+ with just bolt-on's.

Well I guess I'll test that theory soon. My car put 447 SAE rwhp down 100% stock. Dyno Jet 224
Mods to be installed and tuned next week...
ARH 1 7/8 headers, ORXP
Stainless works 3in catback
Fast 102
Ported LS7 TB-lightly not crazy ported
160 t-stat
NGK TR55 plugs
LPE Cold air intake or Vararam-probably try both
Tune

Now the sad thing is in the heat the car dynoed 437SAE corrected on the same dyno which goes to show even the same dyno different day on SAE can deliver different #'s

Report back your numbers asap lol. I forgot were I read it, but somewhere it said if you use the NGK TR6 spark plugs, you can run more aggressive timing because its a cooler plug

Do you think just having the intake manifold ported would be enough for those numbers without having to by the Fast intake?

I have the intake ported now and TB lol and forgot thats what the car dynoed on a hot day on the same dyno. The car "FEELS" alot faster but she didnt put down some impressive #'s lol! The dyno is a tool and the #'s are really just that numbers. I take it with a grain a salt honeslty. The track always determines how well the cars running to me. Though nice #'s are NICE to have for bragging rights.

I'm guessing 540rwhp should be attainable with all the right parts working together and tuned to perfection. That should be good for approx. 138mph.

So Ported intake and TB, headers, X-pipe, I like the stock muffs with the butterfly valves so I wanna keep those, intake and tune, 500 RWHP should definitely be attainable? That's about the absolute most I would want to go, removing the intake and TB being a last resort
