Does the package include the All Pro heads? Is the Power an SAE number?

Sorry no that is only for the rebuild. For $7500 we rebuild your current LS7 and use your LS7 heads.

All Pro heads are $3200 for the bare head then we start adding in the valves and spring package.

99blancoss,

Can you please be more specific.

What are we getting for $7,500? engine specs, power, torque, power band, cam surge, etc.

According to your website it says that the 750+hp 457 CID longblock costs $16,300, but all of the specs are for an LS1/LS2. Is the cost the same for an LS7? Also are these power figures derived from using a solid roller cam or a hydraulic roller cam?

Thanks.

Sorry, the website does not show the LS7 rebuild. The 457 on the website is a re-sleeved LS2.

The LS7 rebuilt to a 457 utilizes your current LS7. We rebuild the bottom end, re-use your LS7 heads and spec a cam to match your needs. This is a hydraulic setup.

The HP shown on the website is a max effort type of deal using TFS 245cc heads but we can certainly enhance your LS7 heads and go in that direction as well. Exact specs and components of course would be finalized before we build and are different for each application.

The 460 is not available for the LS7 upgrade, sorry if that was misleading.

800 ? Well given enough rpms and the proper valve-train to support it maybe is what I will say...

What are the components of this 457ci ls7? Have you already built a few of these?

Yes we have.

Callies Compstar crank and rods, Wiseco pistons and GFX rings, ARP mainstuds ACL race coated bearings make up the short block as well as a custom ground Comp cam, Morel link bar lifters, Manton custom pushrods, double roller timing set and a Melling Hv oil pump for those wanting it.

We re-use your current LS7 heads and replace the valve springs accordingly (per the cam).

We can enhance the heads (porting) or go in the aftermarket direction at extra costs.

Hi

Are you saying for all out HP the TFS 245 head is a better choice than a well ported LS7?

Not sure where you see that anywhere...LOL

What I am saying is there are options out there and yes some are better than a well ported LS7 head. Some aftermarket heads have more meat to them in important areas as well having better flow characteristics. Not dissing the LS7 head, but there are options that are better.

The TFS 245 is just one example of a head we put on the long block for the website. I have All Pro heads on my 457 and we're using some different heads on a 500 cid we're building. There are many options out there.

Why not post an SAE engine dyno graph of this package?

What can you stroke a LS7 to, and can you have it set up for FI Paxton 2200 SC???

Also what about a Solid roller Cam?

We can "stroke" the LS7 to 457 cid but it is not for a power add. Leave it the same if you want to run a s/c but it is not the best candidate for it. The LS7 uses different sleeves than the rest of the LS engines and they have had a cracking issue with detonation and FI.

My block has Darton Sleeves in it.

Can you Do a solid roller cam with the stroked LS7 and push over 8-8.5k rpm ???

Thanks
