Snowman's New Z06 Project
Hello all!
When I originally bought my 06Z06, I didn't mod it for a year...thought the car was great on it's own.
Later though, I took it to John Page at 21st Century Muscle Cars in Dallas and did a cam, long tube headers, high flow cats and a tune. Made 540rwhp.
Took the car to the track in BG, was loud but totally goofy on street tires as you can see here. I didn't even heat the tires because it wouldn't have made any difference. Was still spinning through third gear.

Went back to John at 21CMC, got a more stout clutch and roll control, then got drag radials and skinnies from John at CCW but never got back to the track for a real run because I was working on my C3 project car (Bruiser).
All dressed up but no place to go!
The Bruiser project is just about done so I started looking around for what's next. I recently saw a picture of a C6 with an MCM blower hood and said "man that would look good on my Z06!" I have a supercharged C5 convertible built at 21CMC and have been thoroughly happy with it.
I called John again and after a conversation, delivered my car to him today to install a TVS2300 blower. Talked to Phil at MCM and they will have a C6 blower hood that will fit the TVS by sometime in April. I'm on the list! Hope it is high on the list! Can't wait!
But for now, we wait.
John's going to install a boost gauge and fuel pressure gauge on the A- pillar. I am going to ask him still about upgrading the radiator.
Any input or ideas, please let me know.
This should be fun!
Doug

Whats up Snowman , have not seen a post by you in a few.
Good to see your still in the game. I was thinking on doing the same thing with mine but was waiting to see a few of them done to see if there where any problems with it.
Let us know when you get it back

Cool! Like the color of yours!
Under hood will be all black which should be more of a bad boy look than my 02 vert. Here is vert underhood (also done at 21CMC)
You can also see my 02 vert on home page at http://www.corvettemuseum.com .
But I digress. Z06 with a blower ought to be all in black! Right Mr Big Bollas? Different times call for different solutions!
