Extended warranty??
Been told that i should look into buying an extended warranty that covers everything besides powertrain . Powertrain is covered for 10/100.000 mls. Has anyone have this & what is the cost?

Search function is your friend. This question comes up about 10 times a week.
Call Fichtner Chevy (contact info all over the forum, search his name) he'll give you the options and prices. He's the cheapest and will match anybody's price.
Buying an extended warranty is a personal decision, but since it is transferable, cancelable and provides peace of mind, I think it's an easy decision. A lot more than the powertrain can break...

The GM Power Train Warranty is 5 years or 100,000 miles. How did you get 10 years?
Most folks contact Dennis Fichtner (a CF Chevrolet dealer) that sells the GMPP for much less than other's. You can get a ZERO to $200 deductable and it's essentially an extension of the bumper to bumper warranty.

Did you mean to say "everything besides powertrain"?
As in excluding the powertrain?
