Next step, remove the seat and cut a slot across the lowest part of the bucket where the bar crosses between the two seat rails, this'll get you about another 3/4" of head room.
And if you want to get even lower you can remove about half the thickness of seat cushion.
Another nice feature is to build in a bit of lumbar support, do this by rolling up real tight some bubble wrap and sticking it in the back cushion at an appropriate level.
Cheers, Paul.

And yes, i take out the bottom cushions completely on track... makes the seat feel just like my old Evo seat

[QUOTE=JDRacing;1570317541]Hey Dreamin', I had to do a double take (actually about a 20X take) looking at that test fit picture. That really is your car, your seatbelts, your seat; etc. There has to be a story behind that--so bust out (so to speak).
wait a minute I thought that was "DREAMIN"!

Typical SUPER GEEK write up !!!!!!
Did you have this at BW ??
It may only be a 2 hour install without taking all the pics and having to buckle in the model !!!

"Doesn't that affect the integrity of the seat?"
Not at all, the slot doesn't have to be cut very close to the mounting points, only the centre 6-8 inches of the bucket.
Not that I had any objective way to measure, but I'm sure the stock seat was at least an inch lower than the Caravaggio. After cutting the slot it felt like I got most of that inch back but still not all of it, hence why I changed the seat cushion.
Of course if a person doesn't normally run their stock seat at the very lowest position none of this will be of concern.
My lumbar support modification is what made the Caravaggio better than the stock seat for long drives.
Cheers, Paul.
