Default 10.19@152.93 Video. Speed Inc. TT Z06

http://www.fquick.com/videos/Speed_I...rbo_C6Z06/8327

I drove my car to Byron Dragway (about 80miles away) to make a few runs with my APS TT 07 Z06.

I need a little more practice on the launch as it's a fine line between leaving with too little power or blowing the tires off.

Anyway, ended up with this-

60'.............1.855
330'...........4.710
660'...........6.907
660’ mph...116.94
1000'..........8.710
1320'..........10.197
1320’ mph…152.93

DA was approx 1300ft.

Boost was-

1st 6psi
2nd 11psi
3rd 16psi
4th 16psi

The 315/35/18's ended up being a bit too short as the datalog showed 7,270rpm at the top of 4th.

The car felt absolutely awesome but it also felt like it was getting mild tirespin during almost the entire run. It was moving around a lot in 3rd and 4th gear.

With any luck next time out with a taller tire I'll break into the 9's.

congrats on the 150+ mph

which drag radials are you running? im thinking the 345/35 M&Hs would have you in the 9s for sure.

They were borrowed MT's. I thought it might break the gear down a bit and make it easier to launch but didn't quite work out for me.

I have a set of the 345/35 M&H's but I don't like to use them as they rubbed small holes in my original inner fender liners.

Would be nice to find something in-between.

It sure looked like the car was moving around a bit at mid track. Did they send you home without a cage in the car?

Great run Jim

How much power did the car make with 11psi and 16psi??

Get yourself MT 345-35-18 it will work perfect with the setup.

nice pass man, seat time is what it is all about
just get out there and keep making passes it will
come to you, she might even talk to you and tell
you what she wants,,,, go with the 335 30 18
hooiser drag radial, they are easy to hide a bottle in
just in case no joking try those tires

I would think with that speed (152)..........you could knock an entire second more off that time...I say you can hit a 9.1!

I know u say the m&h tires u have rub, but I say they are just what u need, 152 is just the tip of the iceberg for this one. 155+ for sure w/ taller tires and 1.4x 60ft. Where's the bottle?

Thanks guys

Couldn't hear my car in the vid anyway as other cars were heating their tires in the backround.
