[Z06] How many have voided your warranty on your Z06?

Sickness has infected me too. Tomorrow at Quality Motorsports get my LS7 heads milled to 40/1000th for a 11.6:1 compression to accommodate better the milder QM550 cam and Patriot dual springs installed.
Looking for a 610hp at the flywheel and 540 to the rear wheels.

mine was toast too at 6 miles....wife thought I was sick, but she knew what she was getting into when she married me 6 years ago.

There aren't many sportscars in the world that can top the c6 Z06, plenty of power and fully covered by GM, that is a perfect combination for me.. I will extend the warranty as long as they let me!

Only mods done so far are exterior mods. I have an 06Z & I spend $3500 on a platinum extened warranty so as much as I want to twin turbo it...not for sometime! Plus my scyncro's in the tranny went bad so that was a warning sign at least to me!!! Warranty covered it

No way. I want GM to live up to their warranty. I also don't believe in the minor tweaks available from aftermarket suppliers to gain measly small HP increments that you can't feel on this 505HP car. Lots of bolt ons that claim HP increase are a waste of money and they will void the warranty.

With an intake and a tune you can make almost 50 extra wheel HP. I wouldn't call that a measly small HP increment.

I bought my car as a baseline. started mods right away. Didn't need to be at the top of the pack, just quicker than when I bought it.
I have run into a poor company in LA. whom is now closed. they cost me 12k. for rebuilds due to poor workmanship on their part.
But, you play you pay.
Charlie at RPM is putting it back better than new. Nop no warren tee....
I can't ask GM to replace my engine when I ask someone else to crack the motor and put other parts in it..
I do grin every time I bump the throttle... I am older than most of you and will pass the car to someone in my family (maybe the one who is flying the F22 Raptor)

Almost 4 years left on my warranty and I owe more than its worth now that used car prices have fallen thru the floor. That being said it should be paid off in about 6 months(Thanks Grandmom ) and the only thing I'm going to do to it is tune it so I can race the damn thing in the warm weather without have timing pulled like crazy and to lessen the TM a bit. DR's and skinnies will be purchased since I'll be able to pay for something if it breaks when it gets paid off. I enjoy it too much on the street and as we all know traction is a real problem with much more HP than it already has. I had a Katech torquer, LG's, and a ported intake and TB sitting in my basement but decided not to go that route and sold it all. I'm going to get a fox body stang eventually and make it a high 9/low 10sec racecar. I figure thats a whole lot cheaper to fix and won't mind beating on it like I do mind beating on the z.

Funny story;
I take my Katech Z into the dealsership for them to swap out my aftermarket radiator a couple of weeks ago. There is alot of mod content in my Z. The entire power train, brakes and suspension.
I go to pick it up and my service rep (Rebecca, cute gal) tells me that she noticed a few cosmetic issues like a missing wiper arm cover, she says she had them replaced while I had a few days left on my warrrenty.
Go figure...

I haven't had any warrenty issues kicked back from the Dealer. I don't expect them to warrenty my add ons but they will take care of everything else. I guess it is because they have a very good Service Dept.
