No, it is a pneumatic cutout using the original vacuum actuated pushrod/plunger on the stock midpipe (i just happen to have Corsas aft of that, but it could be anything else).

Thats a sweet idea. I might look into that with my car instead of Bullets. What does something like that done usually cost?

Whats the difference between the electric cutouts and the pneumatic cutouts?

Thanks in advance

I made this myself and the material cost was about.. uhh.. $15. Took about 8 hours but most of that was think/measure time. To do it again with a greater emphasis on aesthetics would take me maybe 4-5 hours. Any competent full time fabricator/weldor could probably do it in less, so you know, $100/hr * 4 + cost of steel, small springs and vacuum line.

The vacuum actuated pushrod is from the stock mufflers. I dont know where to buy those separately but they are very simple, they are basically like wastegate actuators.

The main benefits are that the vacuum actuator is bulletproof, will not fail like electric cutouts are prone to do, and integrates with the car's existing electrical control over one vacuum circuit. It is also a more compact package as you can see and can be fit in ahead of the gearbox without dangling electric motors down below the underside of the vehicle.

Do I need to name our camshafts to be on the list
I thought that I have done more videos then I already have. This summer it will be a point of mine to increase the amount of videos.
