**11.13 @ 128.68 new personal best **
Went to Palm beach intl raceway tonight and had some favorable weather finally.
Track prep was excellent. Air was great, about 45 degrees. Car is a 09 3LZ bone stock on drag radials. Used many of rangers recommendations
and as always they work.
I made 7 passes:
11.13 @ 128.68
11.20 @ 128.01
11.21 @ 127.87
11.22 @ 128.84
11.26 @ 128.10
11.32 @ 127.97
11.45 @ 127.70
I felt the car fall down just a hair on the 1-2 2-3 shifts probably from shifting a little aggressive. Torque management is a bitch. But overall I am very happy. The mph is outrageous to me at 128.84, It went 101 mph in the 1/8th a few times.
Need to work on the launches, best 60' was a 1.800 on the 11.13 pass.
I need a Dr. Ron launch (1.6XX) and I probably could have gone 10.90, or better. Oh well, we shall see in the future.

Those are great runs! You did well. I hope when I hit the track I can do that well. Yes, there are some members here that can drive! JFurman, Walterm, Dr. Ron... I've seen posts from these guys and I don't know how they do it. Nice work.

I was very impressed with it myself.
There were alot of CF members there last night also.
I have approx 80 passes in 2 different C6Z's. I would imagine this is also the reason for extracting the most from the car.
I plan on going again on friday. I really want a 10.XX pass.

You want some 10.XX, heck, you are there. Try these true and tried methods combined with your practices if not already:
Ice down your intake manifold between runs
Move driver seat to the up right position and as close to the pedals as possible so you get good leverage.
Bring a bottle of new clutch fluid for replacement (or change at home)
Pump up front tires between 45 and 50 psi
Take down rear tires between 18 and 22 psi
Not too much gas in the tank (¼ is plenty)
Speed shift into 2nd and it traction is available, powershift into 3rd and into 4th. If you’re not too crazy about powershifting then shift as fast as you can. Great traction should NOT trigger the TM gods as much as if you were to spin too much.
I know the stock clutch is a pain but try cutting some low 1.70’s or better and then see what happens!!! I tell ya what will happen, you will be running 10’s and be asked to leave but not before having a group of guys around you and your car seeing your set up and asking plenty of question…which is cool with me.
Thanks,
Carlos

Post it up into "The C6 Z06 Fast List" thread and I will add it to the listing.
Congrats on a fantastic run.

Very, very, very impressive numbers. Your car makes a ton of hp. Also the fact with all your time runs, you didn't have one bad run. I seem to miss the 2-3 shift or spin or bog or break every few runs with my 08. Good job. Any wheelhop? Probably not with the drag radials.

Thanks 383vett,
No wheel hop, Just the bog was terrible, I think I was invoking torque management w/ to much clutch too fast.
Thanks
