Default NEW CAMAROS and ZR1's at Bondurant Driving School!

Tuesday January 13th 2009, General Motors and Barrett Jackson Collector Car Auctions hosted VIP's for a day of on track activities and special car previews at the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving. In conjunction with the 2009 Barrett Jackson Scottsdale Auction, VIP's were treated to hot laps by Bob Bondurant, Mike McGovern, Craig Meintzer, and John Heinricy on the Bondurant 1.6 mile, 15-turn road course in their new Chevrolet Corvette ZR1's!! 638 Supercharged Horsepower! (A 2-Day ZR1 High Performance Driving School at The Bondurant School is now provided by G.M. to each purchaser of a new ZR1!)

In addition to the hot laps, General Motors brought out 2010 Chevrolet Camaro's for the VIP's to drive on the Bondurant Track! Virtually no one has had the opportunity to drive these cars, let alone on a racetrack! Also on tap were several very special G.M. cars to be previewed prior to the Auction, one of which was the famed "Snakeskinner ZR1 Corvette!" What a great start to the excitement of the 2009 Barrett Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona!

If you're in town for the auction come see the Bondurant Booth or stop by the School in Chandler, Arizona at Firebird Raceway.

Here's some on track photos of the Camaro's and one of the Bondurant School's ZR1 Corvettes:

The descriptions I've heard so far liken it to a BMW in feel, handling, quietness, and road manners. Pretty amazing feedback, now I HAVE to drive it asap!!

Awesome pics! Love that new Camaro, but that gold Bowtie on the beak has to go - so ugly and over the top cheesy.
