need help, I have a miss in the idle to 2000rpm range, lots of backpressure from exhaust, and no warranity as this was voided when I shipped the car to Australia. vehicle has about 6500 miles, this is the first problem since converting to righthand drive.any
chance it is the cats?

Location: Chandler, AZ but, in January 2009, we all entered the Twilight Zone
Doesn't look like there's a common problem here or someone would have posted by now. I doubt it's the cats. Plugs and wires as suggested would be a likely cause but with only 6500 miles, I would think someone would have had to do someting around there (colateral damage during the RH conversion?) and it might be visible. The thing is, there are so many things that can cause this stuff in electronics today that I think Patton has the best suggestion; get some diagnostics hooked up and see what they can tell you.
