Finally part of the 10's second crew on STREET TIRES!
Well yesterday I decided to go and test out the beast with the new mods at the Corvette Challenge at Palm Beach International Raceway sponsored by HP SALES of Pompano Beach, FL.
This was my first time at the tack with this setup and 2nd time at the track with this car (when it was stock) . My current setup is Intake, Tune and American Racing Headers with 345/30/19 Nitto Invo. Temperature was about 71F. After 3 low 11's passes and improved on my 60's I got into the 10's!! I will be going again with cooler weather in the next few weeks as I think there is some left in her. Here is the time slip.
Year of the Z06: 2007
Tires used on the pass: Nitto Invos 345/30/19 Street Tires
Performance Mods (if any): AR Headers, Intake, Tune
Category submitted for: Bolt-Ons without Internal Engine Modification
60'.............1.727
330'...........4.719
660'...........7.130
660’ mph...101.99
1000'..........9.194
1320'..........10.938
1320’ mph…129.42
Name of the track: Palm Beach International Raceway
Date of pass: 11/22/08
Weather conditions: (include Density Altitude, if known): 71F, Sea Level
Corvette Forum post containing report: Finally part of the 10's second crew on STREET TIRES!
Best trap of the day was a 130.03mph. I want to thanks Mike @ Norris Motorsports in winter Garden FL, for tuning the car. Also big thanks to Nick at American Racing and HP Sales for doing the work on the car. Video will be posted once my friend gets off the camera but the only thing that sucks is that he couldn't zoom in.

Congrats - Looks like a terrific job driving.
Your 330-1320 time of 6.219 shows your car is putting out a lot of power, especially considering the temp of 71 degrees.
Nice job!
Also, its always good when you have an outstanding run like this to share the experience with other forum members by providing details of your driving technique. The collective knowledge and experience of the drivers here has proven to be an invaluable source of information.

How is moroso after the renovations? I have been meaning to go and check it out. Now, after seeing your timeslip, I'm excited... did they fix that dip in the left lane about half-track?
A.
Also, did they rename or is it still moroso?

It is nice. The whole track is full concrete now. They renamed it to Palm Beach International Raceway.

Track is all concrete now. Everything has been paved. And they changed the name to Palm Beach International Raceway ("PBIR").
I've heard the track is great now. I'm thinking about heading up there soon, maybe this Wednesday.
EDIT: Got busy at work right before responding, and you beat me to the punch, haha.
