2009 C6Z dragstrip results
Went to palm beach intl raceway last night along with C5FRANK.
The track has only been open a week. So it was a little chaotic.
My car is a " heavy" 3LZ. 4200 miles on the clock. The temp was nice for fla. around 58 degrees. Humidity in the 60% range. D/A unknown.
Results were simple. I made 2 runs. The first was an 11.69 @ 124.46
w/ a 2.02 60'. Cant drive around the water at this track and I did a small burnout and spun slightly and peddled. 1/8 mile was a 7.73 @ 97.28. I made very slow shifts (purposely) just to ease her down the strip. Short shifted at 6800.
2ND pass was a little different, I did a good burnout and staged next to C5FRANK, he made me nervous:o. So i red lit, bogged, and drove it like my old 07 Z. Shifted very hard precicely @ 7k. The bog killed the ET w/ a 11.70 @ a very nice 126.13------ 1/8 was 7.79 @ 98.79---- 2.12 60'
Both runs car was very cool at least 1 hour. Stock everything, including tires. Just under 1/2 tank of fuel. 26 psi in rears.
Plan on going again and pushing it a little harder out of the hole.
Maybe I can bump a few on the FASTLIST.

Yo DP... It was good to see you out there. The new track was kinda crazy. I know I felt a little rusty myself. No doubt your '09 is making the HP though!!! Great mph for Florida. You nearly match my best ever mph (100% stock) on your second run in the car! Next time I'll air up the front tires to try to keep up... mph wise that is. It was fun as always brother!
PS.... What am I now, 3-0 vs you?

DP, I saw you making some runs on that cold Wednesday we had a couple of weeks ago - your car looks great.
I hope you and Frank can make it out to the Corvette Challenges at PBIR, its a great group of guys doing some friendly grudge racing for trophys. Plus they really prep the track for our events and you can usually get as many runs as you want, even if you go out in eliminations they let you TnT until they close.
Here's the schedule. Hope to see you guys there!
