Default LMR 438ci C6 ZO6+250 shot Vid!!

Here is a quick video of Jacks aka (The Godfather's) c6 z06

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/6...df00ba1c73.htm

Car put down a pretty conservative 850rwhp.

Congrats Jack on a beast of a car!! This car weighs in at 3400lbs (equipped with a badass stereo system)

His best run with the car was at Lonestar 10.3 @ 14X with a cam and a 200 shot.

No question he will get into the 9's when he gets more seat time.

I will keep you guys posted.

Yea, the customer had no seat time in the car at all. He picked the car up from our shop and loaded it on the trailer and headed straight to bowling green for ZO6 fest. Once he gets a couple passes under his belt, I think he will get that 9 sec timeslip he is looking for.

Car has the trap @ 142mph for a 9 sec pass that is for sure.

Is this car running a built bottom end?

With a 200 shot I would hope so.

Keep us posted!!

Yes it does have a built bottom end. It is an Ls7 stroker motor. My real problem is that I can not find true slicks for the car. John at CCW was able to come up with rims that take me to 17" but ONLY a drag radial is available in that size. Sure wish there was a way to get to 16". Any ideas? Spraying the 250 shot off the line just blows the tires! Might do much better at a track that has really been prepped properly. If you haven't ever raced at Beach Bend you will NOT know what I am talking about! I did have a better time than what that run was. On the next run I was at 10.7, but the track was gone after my 3rd run and called it quits for the day after that.

Jack

btw....I ran a 200 shot on the stock bottom end for a long time before I went to this new set up without any problems at all.

I use the M/T et street tire on 17x11 C4 wheels, low 1.4 60ft is the norm when leaving on a 100 shot w/ stock short-block, u are 2mph faster than me, u got a 9sec car there Jack

Hoosier and Goodyear make some killer DRAG radials. Not to be confused with a DOT drag radial.
As posted above J HERBERT's recomendation of MT ET Streets should do the trick. And help minimize breakage.
That is one bad azzed car you have there.
Some seat time and a bit of traction .. LOOKOUT !

Jack are you running one of those fancy electronic progressive NOS controllers? If not, you may think about trying one, it brings on the NOS in a controlled ramp that you dial in, that way you get a good launch and then it cranks up.

Thanks for the info. This may be exactly what I need. Tires blowing up off the line as you noticed from the video. They are M&H and were doing good when hp was at 725. Beach Bend also did NOT prep the track very well at all. I was spinning in 4th as well.

We will be installing something very similar to that. We will post up results once we hit the track again.
