Default OEM Wheels

My car came from the factory with Amcast rims. I ran a few HPDE's on stock tires and decided it's time for R' rubber. Purchased a set of OEM Speedine's from another forum member, for track use. Both sets are silver painted, the Amcast having a better finish. Both brands meet GM specs. Are there any real differences in strength or durability.

the speedlines are a few ounces lighter and have better machining. speedline is more advanced in wheel making than amcast. though i cant say for sure, the spin cast procees is probably also superior on the speedlines

dont know if they do, but i have owned several sets of wheels from each manufacturer in the past. speedline is known to produce lightweight high quality wheels. its hit or miss with amcast. hope they dont have a negative influence now if they own speedline
