I am at my iPad now and don't like to edit the list using it.
But I will be at my laptop a little later this evening to update you in the bolt ons list.
I also have to update the averages later this weekend.
Congrats on the great pass.

I'm cool with how everything is ruled, but certainly, running at -DA on a cool winter morning on the East Coast is "adding horsepower" up and beyond what is rated SAE at the factory, no ?
I wouldn't want to mucky muck what has been a successful and non-confrontational thread, and all members are to be congratulated on this...especially the mods who support and maintain the list.
But it easy to see (and IMHO, with logging, demonstrate) that the "accepted" power boost (added HP) of running in such abnormal conditions as to boost power rating (or conversely, rob you of the rated HP in hot, high altitude conditions) gives a significant advantage (or disadvantage) to cars that run in these unique environments.
I would take a caculated risk and say that the sub 11 second runs made on the East Coast would turn into low/mid 11's at best in, say, Denver Colorado (giving the same outside air temps and humidity).
Again, I don't want to stir the pot...just stating the facts.
If everyone is cool with going with the current rules and status quo, so be it.
I'm cool with it either way

Is the time slip available yet?
The rules require that if it might be a top ten listing a time slip is needed.
It looks like it will come in at about #23 so I can use the video and put you on the list as soon as I get to my laptop. I don't like to edit the list from my ipad or iPhone, which is what I am posting this from. But as soon as I get to my laptop or desktop, I'll get you on the list.

these cars are more than capable of traveling significant distances on road trips. all any owner has to do is get in their car and make it to one of the fast tracks in the fast time of year. having negative DA is no guaranty that a fast ET pass is going to happen, someone still has to be able to execute. the timeshack on the return road doesn't hand out low et slips just because the air is cold outside

Hi Tony.
You mentioned a time slip in your post below
Reviewed your videos. And your profile. You own 2 Z06s? One crystal red metallic, the other cyber gray, and then there is the video of the yellow Z06, it took me a minute to follow your postings and videos. Had to go to YouTube as the posting from Savewave, which quoted your original post, won't allow you to see the other videos.
Is the time slip available yet?

I have now included time slips of my 6th race (vs. the 88LX) and 7th race (vs. the Cobra). Car # again is 1011 (left lane) to support my inclusion to the fast list as posted above.

Upcoming changes to the rules of the bone stock categories of "The C6 Z06 Fast List" are necessary at this time.
These changes will center around the following:
Stock parts:
"Stock" replacement parts can change from year to year.
In other words, part numbers can change, and in so changing, subtle differences between the part which the car left the factory with vs the current OEM replacement part, can and sometimes do occur.
A case in point are the rear axles in the 2006 Z06.
The replacement part available for the car now is stronger.
Thus if you should happen to break an axle in an '06, the replacement axle you get won't be the exact same axle as was in the car when it left Bowling Green. The same may exist for rocker arms and other miscellaneous parts.
We recognize this, and feel that should the currently available Genuine GM replacement parts for your vehicle, exceed the specs of the prior part, that the car should still be recognized as stock.
The key here though is "Genuine GM replacement part available for your vehicle".
Thus X pipes from a 2011 model Z06, are not the replacement part for a 2010 and earlier Z06.
Consumable items, tires and others
We have very briefly discussed tires in one of my recent posts, but to recap, the original Eagle F1 Supercar EMT on the 2006-2010 Z06, Fronts: P275/35ZR18, Rears: P325/30ZR19 will become unavailable, if they are not already. There is buzz that Goodyear is going to stop, or may actually have already stopped, producing this tire for the Z06.
Furthermore, even if some of us are able to procure these tires when it is time for new tires, we may discover that while "new", they may have been sitting around for some time prior to sale making them a less than optimum choice for someone spending money on OEM tires.
The tires on the 2011 model Z06 are the GY Eagle F1 Supercar G2 RunOnFlat, Front: 275/35ZR18, Rear: 325/30ZR19 and the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 ZP Front: 285/30ZR19, Rear: 335/25ZR20 for the Z06 Carbon.
As already mentioned, these will soon, if they are not already, become the only OEM tires available for the C6 Z06.
In light of the above, we are willing to recognize cars running these tires as stock.
The changes to the current rules are necessitated as a result of a number of things. Model changes, and part improvements over the few years of the C6 Z06's existence.
These changes are minimal and involve consumable items, and stock replacement parts.
However as has always been the case, any addition, deletion, anything added or taken away, which might increase the car's power and/or torque, we will not consider as stock. And any powertrain parts which are not factory stock, or GM replacement parts for your particular model, will of course not be considered stock.
Thank you for your continued interest in "The C6 Z06 Fast List".
