Lambo won't be left outside my apartment. Got a 10x20 indoor storage space at Shurgard 5 minutes from my eyes, fenced off and keyed access. Will just drive whatever car over there when I want to take the Lambo for a spin, not worth taking the risk with the Lambo and the 3 stage paint.

You bought that Lambo from a dealer which is located about 1 mile from my house. They are a Lamborghini and Lotus dealer. They also have a large number of used BMW, Porsche, and MB cars. It was called the Bimmer store. It is located at 7360 Roswell Road Atlanta, Georgia.

Yep that's the store 95cobraR. Very friendly staff there. My friend recommended them after buying his Lambo there.
BACK TO TOPIC:
Just talked to my Chevy dealer. Chevy overnighted a new engine to them and they are installing it now. My old engine broke a rocker arm, pushrod, valve spring and possibly a valve according to the service rep. This vehicle will be for sale as soon as I get one of my other daily drivers back from the shop.

I asked them if they had any idea what could have caused the failure but they did not. Chevy will be doing an analysis on the engine. Hopefully this doesn't start happening to other Z06 owners, I think mine was one of the first with a roof defect.

There is a loud metallic noise coming from the transmission when the clutch is enganged, it's speed increases with the RPM. When I push the clutch in the sound goes away. These symptoms don't make much sense to me though, if the transmission is messed up how did the engine get messed up as well? My friend also said he heard metallic noises coming from inside the engine too. The car was fine earlier today and all this happened while cruising in traffic at around 35-40mph. I noticed the car was starting to shake when I came to a stop the car was shaking really bad. The engine literally moves left and right an inch in both directions at idle and shakes the whole car along with it.

Wow I am sorry to hear about problem you have with car. Is not some law in US so you get money back or swap for new Z06 if your car have this many problem?
Good luck with Gallardo. My friend have one and love it (he drive it to work!) and he has driven nearly every thing.

Ugh
Have there been any other reports of LS7's self-destructing that we are aware of? I mean engines that presumably have not been abused.
I know anything is possible, and this probably happens to any number of vehicles, (okay, Japanese maybe not so much...,) but I'd hate to think this is another "roof" issue waiting to flare up.
(He buys a Lambo but lives in an apartment!?)
