Yeah lol, good thing it's not supposed to rain tonight cause the car is parked outside. Was thinking of going back to look for the part but it's probably been ran over by someone anyways now.

That may cause a slight rigidity issue.

Any recommendations when taking it to the dealer tomorrow? Can they just slap a new roof on?

Wow! Is that the headliner? Looks like it would be easy to do a glass see-through top.

Yes it is.... I still can't believed this happened. Had just shifted out of first @ around 6900-7000k, hit 2nd and hear a loud crack, pull over and my roof is missing.....

There is still a tiny patch of roof on top of the car that has been broken right off, somebody seriously messed up. What approach should I take at the dealer tomorrow though? Not sure if they can replace the roof there or if they have to ship it back to the factory? The roof is an important part of the car's integrity isn't it? IE: The reason they can't make a convertible.

I hope they at least give me a free rental car while they fix it, but I've heard they might not give rentals to drivers under 25?

That part of the roof looks to simply be a cosmetic covering. The structural part of the roof is still there. Hope you get her fixed
