Default Details of the LS7 problem I was referring to...

Here are the details I got about the problem I was talking about in the thread that got locked...

Several motors have dropped valves. They are running lash caps on the intake valves as the stock titanium intake valves do not have steel tips.

(There are no lash caps on the exhaust valves)

Why they would put a lash cap and a non steel tipped titanium valve on a motor like this I have no idea (supply issues?)

It is not an isolated incident either and is not limited to bottom or top end.

That is all I am saying, wait a while and you'll hear what is going on.

Thanks,
Chris

Now this is different from what my buddy Chris is saying........now I am getting confused. I'm going for another ride!!

Just curious, but they tested this engine on a 24 hour basis several times and never had this problem so I am thinking that someone (not You) do not know what the heck they are talking about. So I will leave it at that....................

I've heard about one case of a broken valve spring. One case, one broken spring . . .
