Default Some oil in my MSD manifold 07 Z06

Took off my throttle body the other day to send to Tony Mamo to have ported …Notice some oil in the intake manifold …Not a lot but enough to notice ..

Put an elite catch can on the car when I bought it two years ago ….The catch can is catching some oil..I would say around two -three tablespoons every 3-4 thousand miles …

Did some research ( google ) what ever …Even though it’s basically not good it sometimes is normal from what I’m getting..Even though to me oil in a manifold is not good ....

Thinking about having Tony port my MSD as well..Anything besides a catch can will help ..
Car has H/C/I E/85 flex tune …

Don't worry about it imho. A little oil is fine & won't hurt anything

Oil in the intake charge decreases octane and thus can cause knock and that will get served up a big dish of timing retard under load = less HP I am also waiting on a set of Mamo TF265`s right now and found my 13k LS7 stock intake also has a few small puddles in the intake, not sure if two cans would totally eliminate this but I read about a set using two cans that claimed to work

C6 has clean side and dirty side of PCV system.

With only dirty side begin caught by single catch can, your still getting oil into the intake manifold during WOT on clean side.

With a good running street engine, a little oil in the manifold is not unusual (from what I've read on the forum) and, unless a huge amount, is not a problem. 1 drop in 10/20/100 ???? miles burned is not a problem.
I used to think that catch cans probably wouldn't hurt, and maybe could help, but sinse my sil put one on his Acura, and immediately started getting trouble codes, I don't think that they are usefull. Again, this is for a good condition, na, street car.

A little mist in there is just going to happen... if it pooled in there... that is not good! Drain your catch can more often is moral of the story....

Do you recommend 2 catch cans? One for the dirty and one for the clean?
