DRL/front turn signal socket
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement socket for my melted DRL/front turn signal socket on my 2006?
I’ve ordered several from several different people on eBay and none are correct.
I’m looking at buying the whole headlight harness for $110 just to get that socket.
Thanks…

Did you mean a damaged REAR end? I ask because a car thats been in a front end collision is less likely to have a good FRONT turn signal anything than one hit in the rear. Another place to try would be Vettenuts. I know they have C5 parts, not sure on any other series.....

Okay, here is what I did. I took the socket out of the new housing and put it in the old housing. There are two tabs on the side of the socket you push in and the socket slides out of the housing. Once the socket is out of the housing the wires pull out. You don’t even need to cut any wires, just pull the old socket out and pop the new one in.
ACDELCO LS15 is the part number for the new part.

Good tip, thanks for sharing. Once again, what was the difference between the old socket housing and the new replacements that did not fit?
