Exhaust help-c6 z06
Im getting my heads done on a bone stock 2006 c6 z06 with 25,505 miles on the clock. Just paid $3,995 for a set of WCCH stage 2 ported heads and fluids (diff, trans, coolant) changed with a dyno tune which I thought was a very fair price and a turn around time of 2 day because they keep them in stock.
Right now I only have the fuse 10 pulled for the exhaust to stay open, but would like some more sound. Do you recommend just do the muffler mod with a mild to wild switch? trying not to break the bank any more than I already am. Only owned the car for 72 hours....

Melting Slicks
Since you pulled the fuse for the NPP, it's already bypassing the muffler (IIRC), so, not going to do anything with the muffler mod, it's already 'loud' (correct me if I'm wrong).
That being said, I'd upgrade the catback, for much better sound. If on a tight budget, can weld in some aftermarket mufflers, ditching the NPP. It will be louder than stock, and sound much better.
However, depending on where you live, can look into long tubes [with high flow cats]. This will really wake the car up...almost regardless of catback. You have to pay to play..
