How do you plan to get around the CA 95dB maximum noise level requirement?

Not loud enough that any neighbors will notice unless you're going full throttle up and down your street. People bitching have never heard a Vette with the muffler delete and are thinking about something like a Honda Civic without a muffler and it sounds nothing like that.

Meh, it's your car, do what you want. I wouldn't do it, I don't need or want that kind of attention.

And some people call Corvette owners “arrogant jackasses”. Where in the world would they come up such stuff?🤫

Just a thought, but NPPs with headers can either be stock quiet or nascar loud depending on the flip of a switch.

If you go catless lould is basically straight pipes.

I'm building my 05 this winter, LS3 topend, CAI, cam, and headers/NPPs. I'm going with cats as my local jurisdiction mandates their use and inspections for them annually.

Just a few thoughts

I wanted a little bit more than stock but wasn’t willing to spend any on it right now. Did the muffler mod and I like it a lot. Don’t really want my car loud, it’s kinda nice to have a refined sound and yes on my Harley the oem exhaust was the first thing to go

My current mufflers are base units also with muffler mod.

I also really like how they sound.
