Default Stuck in Park

Stuck in park no more !!!!! It took a couple hrs in 90 degree heat but fighting this thing for a half hr in a walmart parking lot to get it out of park was the final straw..... Heres some pics.

and that's how it's done, without actually taking any safety feature away from the vehicle. If it gets stuck, simply pull the wire and unlock the pawl

According to some experimentation, a forum member pinpointed the issue to the shifter not activating the micro switch to activate the Park Solenoid. The micro switch is easily bought and replaced if needed.
The member added a shim on the shifter so the micro switch arm would be made.

I like your solution much better as it never fully relies on any electronic switches etc.

Great Job!!!
